There aren’t many vacation homes that can compare to the private house. With plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your time away. Space for getting comfortable and relaxing without feeling like one might need a vacation from their family/friend vacation. Each floor has at least one bedroom and bathroom and a large driveway and garage to park your car or cars throughout the year.
The large spiral staircase at the entry leads to each level. The lowest floor, off the stairs, opens to a large sitting room with a grand piano and fireplace. To the right of the room is one bedroom. The bedroom has two bunk beds (full bottoms, twin tops). The connecting bathroom has a double vanity with a shower and bathtub combo.
The main floor of the house has another large sitting which is also the 5th bedroom with a pullout couch bed, fireplace, exercise rower, and views of the lake. Down the hall are two bedrooms with a connecting bathroom. Each room has a queen bed, and the bathroom features a single vanity and shower. Off the hallway is a half bathroom with a washer and dryer for the renter’s use. The garage entrance is on the main level down the hall and features 560 square feet for a couple of cars.
There is also a Tesla charger inside the garage!!
The top level of the house extends to an open floor plan living room, dining room, and kitchen: the large living room with a fireplace faces the lake, the dining room seats eight and opens to one of the many decks, and the open vaulted beamed kitchen offers knotty alder cabinetry, upscale stainless appliances, and a wine refrigerator. The stocked kitchen has baking, cooking, and utensil basics for short and long stays, even a pantry to store just bought essentials. Down the hall from the living room is another half bathroom and the master bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed and opens to another deck. The connecting bathroom has a large soaking tub sitting under the wall-to-ceiling windows with a view of Lake Tahoe and the treetops, a large walk-in shower, and double vanity.
TVs and Cable: There is no “live” television. Renters can connect to Netflix, HBO, or other apps like they do at home. Please remember to log out of apps at check-out.

Towels, linens, dishwasher tablets, laundry tablets, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels are provided based on the max occupancy of the house. If additional supplies are needed, the renter may purchased supplies from the local grocery at their own expense.

Yes, we love pets and welcome them (i.e. pet friendly), but pets do require additional cleaning due to hair and dander. We are allowing you to bring your furry friend, but please understand that we still need to clean the home properly for everyone.
If a pet is brought into the home without permission, discussion, or paying a the pet cleaning fee prior to arrival, we will be charging extra fees in addition to the nonrefundable pet cleaning fee.
Quiet Hours: 9:00 pm and 8:00 am & Strictly Enforced
Douglas County requires all renters to provide their driver’s license to the rentee as proof of 25 years or older per the Douglas County Vacation Rental Ordinance. All information is kept on file for two years and not shared with any outside parties, except for Douglas County upon their request. Renter’s are to provide a copy of their driver’s license before check-in and submitted to the property manager via email.

Note: Like most homes at Lake Tahoe, there is no air conditioning in the home. Fans are provided.
Fire/Smoke Season can affect air quality. Please review our cancellation policy as we do not provide refunds due to air quality.

Notification to Renters:
You will be issued a parking permit which they must display on the driver’s side dashboard of your vehicle and “failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the owner of the vehicle”. Permit passes will be email to the renter before arrival, please check your email.
THIS IS NOT A SKI IN/SKI OUT HOME. Distance to Heavenly is about 10-15 min away.
